SNOWSHOE, W.Va. – May 25, 2022 — Up to Par Management is more than excited to welcome Chester Guzek as General Manager of Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Guzek holds a degree in Horticultural Science with a concentration in Golf Course Management and finished his academic career with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Shaun Fronk, Vice President of Operations for Up to Par Management said, “We are very excited to have Chester on our team at the Raven. The knowledge Chester brings in all aspects of the golf business, including his experience as a superintendent and work with HOA’s, will be invaluable to the Up to Par and the Raven Golf Club.”

Chester has an extensive background in Golf Management operations. He began as a General Manager and Superintendent of Meadows Farms Golf Course in Locust Grove, VA. Guzek continued his Superintendent duties at Cannon Ridge Golf Club in Fredericksburg, VA, before dedicating four years of leadership as Assistant General Manager for Lake of the Woods Association. Chester was responsible for all golf operations, the clubhouse, pool, and community center. Before joining The Raven, he also served as the Director of Agronomy for New Direction Golf Management responsible for The Gauntlet Golf Club and Somerset Farms Golf Club.

Guzek began his duties in April 2022.
